79.1mm 15 Flute Wrench
This wrench fits oil filters with 15 flutes and an approximate diameter of 79.1mm.
(Note: Our machining tolerance is within +/- 0.001", but you may get a slightly different measurement from 79.1mm. This is because we have sized the internal diameter of the wrench to account for thermal expansion and the best fit across a variety of filters.
2 Drive Sizes
Our replaceable 7075 aluminum drive hub allows the wrench to be operated using a 3/8" ratchet or with a 24mm / 15/16" socket or wrench.
We recommend using a 24mm socket when removing filters. A 3/8" torque wrench can be used when re-installing the filter to the proper torque spec.
High Quality USA-Sourced Materials
Our patent-pending wrench design uses two types of aluminum sourced in the USA. 6061 aluminum is used for the body (the grey part) and 7075 aluminum for the drive hub (the red part). 7075 aluminum is typically used in the aircraft industry and has properties similar to steel. It will not yield (deform) when the ratchet is rotated, even on the tightest oil filter caps.
Precision CNC-Machined
With CNC machining, we can maintain the size of the wrench to a MUCH tighter tolerance than casting or forging. This wrench has an ideal fit when the engine is still warm. It will be slightly loose when used on a cold engine but not enough to slip as we have tested this extensively.

Have not had the opportunity to do an oil change yet, but I checked the fit with a brand new Hyundai/Kia filter as well as one that has been on the vehicle for over a month now. The fit seems to be perfect and I will update if needed at the next oil change. I’m writing the review now because I’m amazed at the quality of the product right down to the packaging with the name of the company stamped, molded, etched…whatever the correct process is…right into the foam insert that protects the wrench. Ridiculous attention to detail, made in the U.S.A. and shipped to my house for $29.99 including shipping! The icing on the cake was when I called to ask a question before purchasing, a human being answered the phone and couldn’t have been more helpful. Could not be happier at this point!
United StatesWon’t fit on almost all Honda oil filter s, despite advertising. One has to spend own money to send it back. Not worth the heat ache.

This review is correct, this size is not compatible with the more popular small Honda filter such as 15400-PLM-A02 which uses our much smaller MX2320 wrench that is 64.3mm in size. This wrench fits the larger 15400-PCX-004 found on the S2000. Please see the compatibility chart for filters that use this size.
