Customize Your Tool With Laser Engraving
You now have the option on some Motivx products to add custom engraving! You can use this for any custom text, but we are seeing two primary applications:
- A personal name or shop name. A great option for those who loan out their tools or have multiple sets of the same tool.
- The tool application. For instance, you may want to engrave "1.8L Toyota" or "5.7L Tundra" on a oil filter wrench.

How To Personalize Your Tool
On certain products on the Motivx Tools website, you will notice a "Add Custom Text" option.

Click that button and type in your custom text. You can use up to 25 characters, resize your text and choose from a variety of fonts. As you type in text, you will notice the preview image updating to reflect your changes.

Change font size up or down.
Change font type.
You can now click the "Add To Cart" button. This will save your personalization and you can view a preview of your personalized product before you complete the checkout process.

At this point, we prepare the printing file, get your tool ready for printing, and actually engraving the tool usually takes a matter of seconds.

Things To keep In Mind
The option to customize your tool is only available on select products at this time. Customization is a free option and will not add any delays to the shipping estimates you receive at checkout.
